WHAT TO EXPECT

We are part of Vehicle Engineering leading all aspects of virtual engineering strategy and leading edge capability delivery across the whole of Engineering. We work closely with the other central virtual teams and the Centres of Competence to develop capable methods to support our company aim of delivering robust great products through world-class virtual engineering. We have a uniquely broad understanding of the virtual activities being undertaken in the business, and as such, we can be instrumental in bringing teams together sharing best practices, and helping our internal customers develop their virtual engineering capability.  

In this role, you'll develop and deliver a comprehensive aligned simulation strategy to all PD functions, including best practices, methods, standards, processes, people and organisation, hardware and software tools as well as acting as a single point of contact for all strategic guidance related to virtual engineering in Jaguar Land Rover. You'll be required to establish and coordinate simulation capability improvement projects whilst exploring innovative solutions to deliver new simulation capability.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Fuelled by your passion for systems simulation and software methods improvement, you’ll demonstrate excellent team-working, organisation, and communication skills. Thanks to high levels of self-motivation, you’ll identify and carry out tasks independently. You’ll also have the ability to initiate and deliver technique and process improvement projects.
