WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

As the Systems Engineer you’ll be responsible for the definition, development and delivery of subsystems solutions, consisting of multiple interconnected systems into Jaguar Land Rover vehicles for Driver Information. You’ll also carry out a range of analysis and investigations into customer requirements; defining the expected functionality and implementation in Driver Information commodities. The creation of functional specifications for multiple functions, and supporting cross-functional technical reviews will also be required.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment, ideally within the automotive sector, although this is not essential. Knowledge and experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and IBM Rational DOORS is required.

Highly analytical and a strong problem solver, you’ll also be competent creating system process flows and system requirements, based on customer requirements and features. Ideally you’ll be a good communicator too, able to communicate complex ideas.
