WHAT TO EXPECT

Getting the right parts, to the right place, at the right time, for the right cost: that’s the challenge for supply chain and logistics.

We have fantastic opportunities for graduates to join our Global Material Planning and Logistics team. You’ll work with a global network of over 1,000 suppliers and our worldwide manufacturing and sales footprint, to ensure that we continuously plan and execute the most effective and efficient supply chain in the industry. You’ll manage everything from ensuring the parts we need are available and the right quality; to optimising the journey they take to reach out factories and showrooms.

With ongoing support from experts at the pinnacle of their profession, and the opportunity to gain new skills and professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, you’ll help to ensure that at the end of the chain is a category-defining collection of innovative vehicles that capture the imaginations of the world’s most discerning drivers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Excellence runs throughout our entire business and we expect you to be the same. We’re looking for graduates who hold at least a 2:2 degree classification in a relevant discipline; preferably supply chain, logistics, operations management, engineering or mathematics. We’ll also consider candidates who have a Business Studies or Programme and Project Management degree, if it includes a substantial quantitative element.

An analytical thinker who thrives in high-pressure situations, you’ll use your creativity and pragmatism to develop and implement elegant and innovative solutions. You’ll also know how to influence and lead when faced with new challenges and demands. Travel between sites will be required, so you’ll need to have a full driving license too.

Joining us on a starting salary of £29,000, you’ll also receive a £2,000 joining bonus to welcome you to Jaguar Land Rover.
