LOCATION:  Solihull, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Release and Follow-Up department manages our parts portfolio and the associated supply base to ensure parts are available to meet build requirements within operational first time through (FTT) inventory and budget targets.

In your role as the Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll have responsibility for procurement of volume and run-out parts alongside the optimisation of scheduling parameters within material planning systems. You’ll monitor scheduling data to effectively support business requirement and release requirements to suppliers on a timely basis. You should be able to work closely with suppliers (developing strong working relationships) and the Container team to ensure correct flows are maintained. As required, you’ll initiate and manage internal cross-functional meetings to improve performance.

Your responsibilities will further include site stockholding levels and reporting on parts delivery in line with scheduled parameters. You’ll also be generating and issuing supply performance measures to facilitate performance improvement and supporting the Purchasing teams in supplier nomination. If necessary, you’ll carry out or request stock checks to validate stock accuracy and make inventory adjustments to support results. Where Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy is uncertain, raise Automated Issue Management System (AIMS) requests with the relevant department and manually adjust schedule demand and request full Inventory reconciliation to ensure that Business protected until issue resolved.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll have logistical experience and the ability to quickly understand and challenge logistical processes. You’’ be familiar with material flow and planning activities, ideally from within an automotive or supply base industry. In addition, you’ll get to apply your competency in MS Excel and knowledge of ERP Systems in practice.

The role will require the ability to take on high levels of responsibility and work under pressure, so being able to embrace change and be flexible will be a must. Ideally, you’ll be degree-qualified or studying towards a degree in a relevant discipline.
