ADVERTISED SALARY: £37,900 - £45,000

As a Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) New Model Launch Engineer, you’ll have the responsibility for delivery of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) through the application of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). You’ll be specifically associated with Programmes that will not use the Commodity Creation Delivery System as the fundamental approach to Product Launch.

 

You’ll also maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholder and suppliers’ representatives to ensure Part Submission Warrant quality and delivery targets are met. Ensuring all supplier manufacturing process related issues are resolved in a timely manner, you’ll also collaborate with buyers and Product Engineers to maximise STA influence and ensure alignment processes and policy.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

With an extensive proven track record in Quality Management in a manufacturing or a technical environment, you’ll also have a proven leadership track record with the ability to manage and execute complex projects on time.  

 

A strong communicator, you’ll be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills. A determined individual that’s self-driven, committed and results-orientated, you’ll work with pace, energy, and confidence. Finally, due to the nature of this role you’ll need the be willing to travel frequently to supplier facilities in the UK, Europe and Worldwide as required.
