The Global Programmes & Operations Management team manages the interface between the Vehicle Line Architectures, Globalisation, Manufacturing and the Purchasing/ Supplier Technical Assistance community. They ensure New Model Programmes and global growth can derive maximum value and benefit from the global supplier market place offering in terms of cost, quality, technology, and timing, and that these attributes are delivered to or better than plan.

 

As Supplier Programme Readiness (SPR) Programme Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of supplier readiness needed to launch our next generation of vehicles. You’ll manage supplier performance through robust application of agreed customer (Jaguar Land Rover) and supplier metric monitoring, reporting, and action planning, including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll combine excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate resolution of complex cross-functional issues via proven problem solving methods. Naturally you’ll have an excellent working knowledge of APQP & PPAP gained within the automotive industry, OEM or supply chain.

 

Drawing on your strong leadership, communication and project/programme management skills, you’ll take a positive approach in driving forward continuous improvement of core purchasing process across the Global Purchasing and Supplier Technical Assistance programmes.
