WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Providing independent assurance to the Audit Committee, our world-class Audit and Compliance teams ensure our organisation’s risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating efficiently and effectively.

 

The Quality Management System (QMS) team provides service to all Jaguar Land Rover functions by managing the certification to TS16949 and ensuring conformity to its requirements. As Quality Systems Engineer you’ll be responsible for the development, organisation, and management of new process development and procedure activities - liaising with plants, scheduling procedure development workshops, and ensuring all functions and plants buy-in.

 

You’ll support the timely and robust action for closure of internal audit findings, and report status. In your role you’ll sustain, develop, and improve the QMS as required and report QMS performance, ensuring management review and action. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll ideally have Lead Auditor certification to TS16949, along with experience of process auditing and investigating within a manufacturing and engineering environment. However, we would consider any experienced Quality Engineer working in an automotive environment. You’ll have the ability to communicate with and advise people at all levels, with reference to QMS procedures, auditing and wider process quality activities.

 

Strong written and communication skills are imperative for procedure writing, presentations and non-conformance responses, and you should also have a good understanding of TS core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA & SPC) and problem solving tools. You’ll have a logical approach, and be adaptable and quick to react under pressure to tight timelines.

 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who can support the core QMS procedure development and review activities for the continuous development and improvement of the Jaguar Land Rover QMS.
