Your role as Continuous Improvement Engineer helps our Quality teams to lead the way, focussing on the continuous development of the Quality Management systems and Manufacturing Quality Operations systems within our frameworks. Working collaboratively with our Quality Management System (QMS) Team, you’ll help us to ensure conformity for the certification IATF16949 meaning we meet the high standards we set for our products.

 

To keep our production moving, you’ll support the timely and robust action for closure of internal audit findings and report status to key stakeholders. Communication will be key as you’ll be liaising with plants, scheduling procedure development workshops, and ensuring all functions and plants buy-in to any advancements.

 

You’ll be:

 

·  Developing, organising, and managing new process development and procedure activities
·  Leading successful audit for non-conformance closures processes and will provide follow-up as required
·  Driving quality improvement projects across manufacturing and non-manufacturing areas.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll need Auditor certification to ISO9001/IATF16949 along with experience of process auditing and investigating within a manufacturing and engineering environment. Logical, adaptable, and quick to react under pressure, you’ll have the ability to advise people at all levels, with reference QMS Procedures, auditing, and the wider process quality activities.

 

As you’ll be interacting with different teams on QMS procedure-related matters, you’ll need strong written and communication skills for procedure writing, presentations, and non-conformance responses.

 

Finally, you should be an enthusiastic individual who can support the Core QMS procedure development and review activities for continuous development and improvement.

 

You’ll be:

 

·  An experienced auditor certified to ISO9001/IATF16949
·  Knowledgeable in QMS Procedures, manufacturing, and quality processes
·  A strong communicator with exception stakeholder management skills
