WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

 

As the Program Vehicle Team (PVT) Project Engineer you’ll provide engineering and technical support to the manufacturing team, to support decisions affecting production or product, and act as the key point of contact and conduit of engineering related issues for the Product Development base engine team. As the Product Development representative within the engine plant, you’ll support engineering changes and warranty issues; ensuring that product quality is continuously improved. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team of engineers and collaborating with other functions to ensure there’s clear direction on customer-related issues; ensuring containment and robust permanent corrective actions are delivered against quality targets.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As a skilled engineer, you’ll be educated to degree level and have experience of manufacturing or engineering processes, tools and techniques, along with the ability to perform investigations using quality tools and techniques. You’ll be a good communicator, capable of negotiating at all levels of the organisation. You’ll also feel comfortable coordinating team members and using your strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally. Finally, good project management skills are essential.
