As Project Engineer – Total Value Management you’ll manage and coordinate multiple projects supporting the Group Leader and Engineering Project Lead in the technical validation and delivery of engineering projects. You’ll build and manage business cases, ensuring that cost and timing assumptions are achieved throughout the lifecycle of the project.

 

Additionally, you’ll support the design, development, testing, and introduction of engineering projects to reduce the material cost of current vehicles. Operating in a cross-functional organisation, you’ll have matrix responsibility to deliver projects across all Body Engineering areas requiring  you to balance the delivery of short term tactical projects and long term Engineering Strategy, to deliver cost reduction efficiently and robustly.

 

This is your chance to support multiple engineering projects, exposing you to key areas that influence vehicle development.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have project engineering experience, ideally within an engineering or automotive environment, where you have supported, coordinated or managed multiple projects. You’ve technical, analytical and Excel skills,with proven experience of working with financial information and the ability to combine business skills with technical decision-making will be essential.
