LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire

WHAT TO EXPECT

Body Structures are responsible for the design and development of the Body less doors, which include Body Pressings, castings, extrusions and body sealing media for all Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) models. It also manages the component and proto-type supplier base to ensure timing and project control is maintained.

The department is responsible for developing designs from concept through to production. Our deliverables are released 3D CAD models which demonstrate robustness and meet each programme objective.

As a Project Engineer within the function, you'll work alongside the Group Leader and other Project Engineers. You'll report into the Body Structures department with matrix responsibility to the Group leader and the Module leader within the projects assigned. There may be a need to work at other JLR manufacturing and design location to suit department needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

With a passion for the automotive industry and the potential of automotive technology you'll have strong project management capabilities with the ability to multitask. You'll be comfortable challenging cross-functionally at a variety of levels within the business and have excellent communication skills. With a degree or similar qualification, you'll have combined knowledge of engineering design using CATIA V5, specifically within a Body in White (BIW) environment. With your engineering expertise we know we can continue to operate as industry leading business.
