Safety Restraints is part of the Body CAE group led by the Technical Specialist with responsibility for virtual method development and innovations to support programme development from safety components to vehicle safety attributes (frontal, side, and pedestrians). In your role, you'll lead and support the innovation of virtual method development of safety restraints components and the restraints system. You'll manage the CAE capability growth project through all gateways and support programme deliveries. You'll run baseline CAE analysis, summarise results, and feedback conclusions in an efficient manner. To be successful in this role, you'll have basic knowledge of and the ability to run LS-DYNA.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To excel in this role, you’ll come with experience of restraints components, restraints system, and occupant safety development. You’ll also have relevant previous history of engineering and you’ll be familiar with the virtual series process. Ideally, you'll be educated to a degree level, preferably with a PhD or master’s diploma.
