WHAT TO EXPECT

Immersing yourself in our world and taking real projects from initial design to production, you’ll join one of the most progressive areas of our business every summer until you graduate – and, if appropriate, for your Industrial Placement too. With the electrical system on every vehicle consisting of up to 100 control units, 15,000 software functions and up to 100 million lines of software code, we are right at the leading edge of technology and innovation. From running simulations and designing new software to implementing autonomous features and testing prototype electrical systems, you’ll help shape it all. Not only will these experiences supplement your academic studies, but could act as a springboard to a future career with us.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Excellence runs throughout our entire business. And we expect you to be the same. Currently studying for a degree in Electronic, Electrical, Systems Integration, Control, Computer or Software Engineering, you’ll have completed at least your first year by summer 2019 and be on track for at least a 2:2. Driven, determined to learn and with impressive commercial awareness, you’ll have no doubts that our Electrical Sponsored Scheme is the next challenge for you.

Our undergraduate placements have a fixed start date of 24 June 2019 and will run for a duration of 3/6/15 months.

And with ongoing support from industry-leading experts, you’ll quickly realise the schemes have been designed to be just as inspiring as the pioneering vehicles you’ll help produce.

Whichever path you follow, your hard work and contribution deserves recognition. So as well as ongoing support and learning opportunities, you’ll receive a competitive salary. This will be around £300 per week, or £15,600 p.a.

For those on 6 or 15 month placements, a generous holiday allowance will also be yours, as will many other benefits. With on-site facilities like gyms and sports hall, plus regular social events, you’ll have plenty of chances to make friends and have fun too.
