WHAT TO EXPECT
Joining us as a Product Designer means you’ll be a part of our Infrastructure as a Service team. This key area of our IT department is currently undergoing changes that are allowing us to build our new cloud services portfolio, including public and on-premise Data Centre services. As a key leader within this team, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of strategic direction, planning, technology design, and implementation, helping us to offer agile development that will underpin our IT services.
You’ll be:
· Reporting to and supporting the Head of Infrastructure as a Service
· Managing key aspects of strategy and planning
· Helping us to offer agile infrastructure services
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To succeed in your new role, you’ll need to have plenty of knowledge when it comes to the implementation and management of infrastructure products, bringing extensive experience of product roadmap ownership and the inception and delivery of cloud and infrastructure services. You’ll have in-depth exposure to architecture design and implementation of a software defined data centre, bringing expert knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and the related product suite. Experience of working in an Agile environment is preferred, and an understanding of cloud service vendor offerings from Microsoft, Amazon, and Google is advantageous.
You’ll have:
· Experience of setting up a software defined data centre
· Knowledge of the implementation and management of cloud and infrastructure services
· In-depth expertise in infrastructure and cloud services architecture
