ADVERTISED SALARY: £38,600 - £45,000

WHAT TO EXPECT                                                                                                                      

Product Marketing is responsible for ensuring that the voice of the market is reflected in the product creation and in-cycle management process for current and future carlines. The team also manages the strategic whole life plan of each model, product content, market offer, pricing, and supports the launch process.  

 

This is a crucial, high profile role and requires the ability to represent the Commercial function in pro-actively driving the business to ensure the customer, brand and business needs are appropriately balanced to ensure business success. 

 

As Product Marketing Analyst you’ll be at the very heart of creating the next generation of our vehicles, responsible for the day-to-day running of the current model year and the planning of the coming model year programmes. Working closely with the wider Product Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for new vehicle programmes from start to finish, focusing on the clear definition of the marketing order card; determining exactly what the product is, in terms of powertrain, derivatives, new features, pricing, mix, and revenue contribution.

 

You’ll also conduct extensive competitor research and benchmarking from a product and price perspective to ensure future products are competitive and highly desirable. Finally, you’ll interface between the Product Development, Programme, and the Marketing Sales and Service, and Product Strategy team to secure new commercially viable technology and features into the programme.

You'll have a passion for the automotive industry and technology alongside being driven, resilient, and with a flexible work ethic. With a thirst for learning and self-development, you’ll have knowledge of products and systems together with the ability to challenge and influence others.

 

Results-driven and able to work independently, you're also able to develop and support other team members. You’ll need to be a strategic thinker able to combine a short-term, pragmatic focus with medium-term planning.

 

Finally, you’ve got considerable drive and perseverance, able to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment, whilst responding constructively to new ideas and inputs.
