SALARY:  £40,000 - £55,000

LOCATION:  West Midlands

 

This role is also eligible for other additional allowances to base salary.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

 

As Planning Engineer you’ll join a very dynamic and challenging team, working to deliver in-line Transmission System Commodities. You’ll be the point of contact between the Auto Transmissions System team and the Programme Management and Vehicle Engineering teams in the delivery phase of in-line powertrain programmes.

 

You’ll work across a very wide and varied set of engineering commodities with strong team interaction at all levels from Engineering Delivery to Chief Engineer.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Ideally you’ll demonstrate a knowledge of Transmission and Driveline Commodities and their interaction with other engineering commodities. In addition to this you’ll need an understanding of the interaction of Transmission Calibration and Controls delivery activities with engine calibration delivery.

 

You’ll have strong project management and communication skills with the ability to interact with cross functional teams. Your strong issue resolution skills mean you are able to deliver to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
