LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

 

You’ll have responsibility for Power Supply Control System implementation at a platform level. The team designs control systems for several distinct vehicle types, including stop/start, hybrid, plug-in hybrid to full electrical derivatives. The requirement is for a person who can work with several interfacing areas to deliver appropriate functionality to meet the many needs of vehicle features with quality at the forefront of delivery. This means working with the Power Supply Systems Definition and Software Groups, ensuring the requirements and test cases are sufficiently defined to deliver right first time, every time.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have a relevant degree or equivalent experience combined with experience and application of using industry-standard system modelling toolset (MATLAB, Simulink etc.)

You’ll also have experience and application of the engineering delivery process, from requirements capture through to validated functionality.
