LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

You’ll be the point of contact between our Calibration and Controls team and the Programme Management and Vehicle Engineering teams in the delivery phase of in-line powertrain programmes. Working across a very wide and varied set of engineering commodities with strong team interaction at all levels from Engineering Delivery to Chief Engineer.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

In this role, a strong communicator is a must. You’ll be able to manage issue resolution, with the ability to understand what is containable and what requires escalation, and have the ability to work to timed deadlines and gateways.

You’ll have excellent project management skills to oversee large and complex delivery programmes, as well as good character combined with the ability to work within a large and varied team to get the best delivery from each team member.

In addition, you’ll ideally have an understanding of Transmission and Driveline Commodities and their interaction with other Engineering commodities, as well as experience and interaction of Transmission Calibration and Controls delivery activities with engine calibration delivery.
