WHAT TO EXPECT

This role is a 12 month maternity cover, and ideally Jaguar Land Rover are looking for someone to start in June 2018.

Our Marketing, Sales and Service (MS&S) teams are responsible for all customer-facing activities, from developing and maintaining the dealer network to managing importers and export partners. Their responsibilities continue through to global sales planning and supply of vehicles to markets, the sales process to customers, and all global customer service and aftersales activities. 

As Inventory Analyst, you’ll be responsible for carefully monitoring the performance and results of forecasting and stocking policies by reporting key metrics such as availability, stock turnover, back order ages and obsolescence.

In addition, you’ll support the development of Jaguar Land Rover strategic projects; this will be new model programmes, new and emerging markets and transition projects. You’ll analyse the impact of supplier and model decisions on the inventory volume, the availability and other relevant goals of inventory management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need to be able to work on complex distribution networks and have a good understanding of supply chain processes and have strong analytical and statistical skills. You’ll be able to construct, manipulate and interpret complex data, and to make recommendations on this analysis.

You’ll be self-motivated, enthusiastic and welcome the challenge of operating in a varied and fast moving environment with excellent planning skills. In addition you’ll have experience of using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

You’ll be competent in using standard IT systems (MS Office) as this is essential, in particular Excel, and Access which you will use on a day-to-day basis.
