WHAT TO EXPECT          

Precision is what guides every aspect of our processes, and in the Performance, Efficiency and Driveability (PED) arena, you’ll influence the technologies deployed. You’ll guide the business on the vehicle content that is required to deliver targets.

As a Hybrid System Lead Verification Engineer, you'll be part of the Electrified Propulsion Systems, Calibration and Controls team within Powertrain. You'll be responsible for leading the XCL delivery of the system design verification activities for the electrified powertrain control system, including leading a team of test and verification engineers. A review of Design Verification Methods with System Design Engineers will be included in the role. Besides leading a team of test and verification engineers to deliver scheduled testing, you'll need to generate and manage system level test plan for XCL programmes.   

WHAT YOU’LL NEED     

Committed to continuous improvement as regards both personal and team/process development, you’ll come with previous experience of leading the resolution of technical and process issues within a project team environment. In addition, you’ll have strong work-planning and stakeholder management skills alongside experience of prototype vehicle or rig testing, including diagnostics and issue identification and resolution.

Displaying a passion for the design, development, and delivery of exciting new technologies, you’ll be able to work with minimal supervision and also deliver robust, timely solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong influencing and engagement talents will also be of use.
