WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

The Instrumentation and Calibration Engineer sits within the Powertrain Engine Test Facilities department supporting Engine Test Facilities at Whitley, Gaydon, and other global locations. You’ll support Engine test activities using instrumentation, measuring devices and equipment calibration. You’ll be working independently or as part of a team engaging with operators, customers, and external specialists to maintain Jaguar Land Rover’s equipment calibration to traceable standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll demonstrate experience of engine test procedures and applications related to the test bed systems, and you’ll have dealt with test bed equipment instrumentation, calibration, installation, commissioning, and maintenance along with engine test bed equipment application including services, fuels, air, cooling systems, etc.

In addition, you’ll possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a larger team.
