WHAT TO EXPECT

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems by helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

As a Functional Safety Engineer, you’ll be responsible for completion of all the functional safety engineering deliverables that are required to design and deliver driver assistance features based on video, radar and ultrasonic technologies.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Jaguar Land Rover considers that this role does not meet the criteria to be considered within the Home Office Shortage Occupation list.  Therefore, Jaguar Land Rover will not support an application for visa sponsorship and all applicants for this role must have an unrestricted right to work for an indefinite period in the UK.

To succeed, you’ll come to this role with experience in driver assistance systems or comparable complex systems (such as infotainment, chassis control or powertrain) along with experience in functional safety architectures, physical system architectures, functional safety allocation, and functional and non-functional safety requirements design.

In addition, you’ll be familiar with ISO26262, HAZOP and HARA analysis, as well as possessing experience of FTA / FMEA, NHTSA / NCAP features and quality deliverables or noise factors analysis for ADAS experience.
