So the decisions you make here will ripple through our business and, ultimately, all around the world. The team is responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. 

You'll take ownership of component accounting at the UK manufacturing plants, the reconciliation of the vehicles that come off the assembly line, as well as account for the stock reconciliation of all United Kingdom, (U.K), finished vehicle. This role will also include accounting for vehicle provisioning including prototype and net realisable value assessments of all UK vehicles, balance sheet reconciliations of key inventory accounts (including finished vehicles and component inventory), control and coordination of UK vehicles stock and accounting for global actual cost of sales in conjunction with Global Purchasing Finance.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

The role will provide support to the Product Accounting Manager and requires both the ability to work at a transactional level with strong attention to detail and also a good understanding of the underlying accounting principles driving the systems and processes. It is a role that requires regular contact with the wider business in terms of gathering information to support accounting adjustments and therefore the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from outside of Finance is key. You'll be a qualified accountant with a high degree of accuracy and a process improvement mind set to remove risk and reduce complexity. Strong Excel/SAP skills and MS Access experience would be helpful.
