Which is where you join the journey.

LOCATION: Solihull, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our commitment to sourcing only the highest-quality products for our vehicles has taken us all over the world. Join us, and it will be you coordinating a supplier base of thousands, ensuring the right part arrives at our plants at precisely the right time.

Every minute of every day, thousands of parts and materials from all over the world are shipped and delivered to our plants, ready to be utilised on our production lines within hours. At the same time, hundreds of customers from across the globe are handed the keys to their newly transported vehicles. A feat like this doesn’t just happen. Behind this momentous undertaking are our Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L) team, coordinating on a massive scale to ensure our vehicles continue to roll smoothly off the production lines and into the hands of the customers awaiting them.

In your role as an Engineering Change Control Analyst, you'll be joining our Solihull Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L) Data Integrity department, who are responsible for managing engineering changes across both current vehicle and new model year introduction points. You'll be working on behalf of MP&L, investigating concerns and approving or rejecting requests. In this capacity, you'll also attend and lead meetings with various cross-functional teams, and you'll provide a single point of contact for engineering change issues. Through ensuring timing issues are covered before concern release and communicating associated timings to the rest of the business, you'll coordinate all part number change activity for pre-production builds and support the resolution of bill-of-materials issues where required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For your role as an Engineering Change Control Analyst, you'll come from a background in MP&L or Logistics. Besides having previously worked with the bill of materials, you'll have an understanding of Engineering Change Control and a good grasp of Microsoft Office applications. In addition to computer literacy and good numeracy skills, you’ll demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and determination in confidently and effectively communicating with all levels of the business both verbally and in writing. Owing to your skill at managing priorities, you'll be able to identify issues and create solutions. Ideally, you’ll be degree-qualified and hold a full driving licence as well.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
