WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

As Driver Information Systems Engineer you’ll be responsible for the definition, development, and delivery of sub systems solutions. This will consist of delivering multiple interconnected systems into Jaguar Land Rover vehicles for Driver Information, who are responsible for delivering HUD’s Clusters and all displays in to our vehicles.

You’ll also be required to deliver sub system specifications within Driver Information across the range of vehicles and contribute to the delivery of the area onto all programmes, in line with the Systems Engineering discipline outlined by Product Creation Systems. You’ll also provide technical support and assistance across the operational team on topics relating to the integration and harmonisation of multiple interconnected systems.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment, ideally within the Automotive Sector. Experience in IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORS) or other similar tools is essential along with experience in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with good verbal and written communications will be required. You’ll also need to be an individual who is results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment.
