ADVERTISED SALARY: £32,500 - £38,000

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Our commitment to sourcing only the highest quality products for our vehicles has taken us all over the world. Join us, and it will be you coordinating a supplier base of thousands, ensuring the right part arrives at our plants at precisely the right time.

 

You’ll utilise Spare Parts Planning systems, placing schedules on suppliers/master warehouses in a timely manner to deliver the right part to the right place at the right time; deciding on adequate inventory parameters for newly created parts and carefully monitoring the performance and results of forecasting and stocking policies.

 

Within this role you’ll work closely with other businesses, to support key projects, to achieve customer service and financial objectives. You’ll be responsible for utilising the forecasting and replenishment system to optimise inventory levels as well as maintaining optimal stock levels to ensure timely availability of parts and accessories. You’ll assist with the review of service level performance on a continuous basis.

 

In addition you’ll take ownership of maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external customers and undertake analysis to define root causes and suggest future correctives.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You'll need to have excellent inventory experience and an analytical mind, and proficient in all Microsoft packages including Excel. Able to construct, manipulate and interpret complex data, and to make recommendations on this analysis, you’ll also need a working knowledge of inventory classification and forecasting, stocking level strategies, EOQ planning, and safety stock planning.

 

Motivated, enthusiastic and inquisitive, you’ll have relevant experience or degree. If you’ve axperience of using SAP and working closely with finance that would be even better.
