As a VRT Engineer, working within the Body Construction CME department, you’ll provide production support on a daily basis to maintain delivery and quality targets and drive problem resolution and quality improvements. You’ll be a champion for improving dimensional capability of the constructed body by utilising inline measurement machines and reviewing process controls throughout the production process.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As a VRT engineer, you’ll need to have experience and understanding of large scale manufacturing as well as strong problem solving and team working skills. You’ll need to have the ability to interpret dimensional data, a good understanding of statistical process control and be able to utilise computer systems. A relevant degree and/or Black/Green belt training is desirable, but not essential. A good understanding of Lean manufacturing processes and procedures is required. This is a shift role, so you’ll need to be able to work shifts as well as being flexible with your working hours.
