The Jaguar Land Rover Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team is responsible for all aspects of Product Lifecycle Management toolset selections, implementation, use and support. You’ll focus to move Jaguar Land Rover Engineering Operations out of their current toolsets and move them into a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) suite which will open opportunities for more efficient delivery of our vehicle programmes delivery great products faster to our customers.
As Cross Function Application Engineer, you’ll be responsible in delivering technical solutions across various work streams covering functional capabilities in areas such as “Bill of Material, Change Management, Materials & Compliance” plus many more based on requirements the solutions will need to satisfy.
Finally, you’ll support the design, development and delivery of projects and their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. Typically, this will involve the planning, co-ordination & delivery of specific projects within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll have previous experience of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programmes and Project Management with track record of delivery, alongside this you’ll have methodical detailed approach to work context.
As well as having strong analytical skills you’ll have experience of Problem Resolution using structured approach. You’ll have the ability to present complex data and issues to a varied audience. Having experience as specialist electronics engineer in the automotive manufacturing and design industry would be beneficial.
Ideally, you’ll have extensive knowledge of Dassault Systems/Catia V6 or 3D experience. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
