WHAT TO EXPECT

The Human Resources (HR) team at Jaguar Land Rover has recently undergone a massive transformation project. That’s why we need your help to keep us focused as we move forward on our path to a successful transition.

The brand new role of Competency Developer is a fantastic opportunity to shape the workforces’ future skills, developing the training of cutting edge technologies across Jaguar Land Rover.

You’ll provide technical expertise to optimise the learning opportunities on offer, embracing the most appropriate format for capability growth for each of our employees allowing them to excel in their careers and remain ahead.

You’ll support our continued business transformation, driving clarity in the specialised competencies required for success and contribute to the development and deployment of global policy, process and innovation.

In addition you’ll be responsible for providing strategic direction and definition of learning solutions for roles associated with Manufacturing Operations as well as being responsible for understanding scarce skills and future requirements, and identifying solutions and implementing actions to address shortfalls.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need a relevant degree (or equivalent experience), a comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of processes and practices used in manufacturing operations as well as significant experience of working with external providers or educators to create robust solutions which are timely and to budget.

If you’ve good working knowledge of recognised standards and practices which support manufacturing, logistics, and quality operations as well as experience of working with Further and Higher Education providers that would be even better.
