WHAT TO EXPECT

With your knowledge and principles of coordinate systems and alignment, ability to interpret dimensional data, you’ll join our Quality Department of the Engine Manufacturing Centre (EMC) which is Jaguar Land Rover’s flagship powertrain manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. You will be responsible for providing an independent measurement service across, machining and assembly areas to include measurement of engine blocks, cylinder heads, crank shafts and supplied parts.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Alongside a completed relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship you’ll bring with you previous experience of CMM operating and programming with Calypso. A thorough understanding of Metrology, First Principles of Measurement, (FAIR) First Article Inspection Reporting, Initial Sample Inspection Reporting (ISIR) and Surface Roughness and Contour Measurement.

You’ll be an effective team player, with good interpersonal and coordination skills, able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment. You’ll be enthusiastic and have excellent quality awareness with the drive to deliver a world class product.
