WHAT TO EXPECT
With your knowledge of Calibration processes, Metrology first principles of measurement and a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, you’ll join our Quality Department within the Engine Manufacturing Centre (EMC) which is Jaguar Land Rover’s flagship powertrain manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton.  

You’ll be providing a Mechanical Gauge Calibration service across the machining and assembly areas, including Adaptor Plate, Production Gauges and Masters.  You’ll also be responsible for creating calibration certificates, booking calibrations Support and the implementation and monitoring of the department's compliance with corporate initiatives/ Standards (TS16949 etc.)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Ideally you'll hold a relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship, alternatively you'll require as a minimum an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and work experience appropriate to the Level 3 standard. Additionally, all applications for this programme must demonstrate at least 50% core competence in line with a job specialism related training needs analysis.

You'll  bring with you previous experience of Gauge Calibration, Measurement System Analysis and CMM operating along with a thorough understanding of Metrology First Principles of Measurement
