WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

As Black Belt Quality Engineer, you’ll focus on the Quality activities of current vehicle programmes. You’ll ensure that Product Engineering decisions have the necessary strategic and technical foundation that perform at world class quality levels to ensure future business success. 

You’ll work on Electrical Engineering Quality and will have exposure to the key areas that influence vehicle development, interacting across engineering functions and attribute teams, championing the use of problem solving methodologies to ensure robust project closure and lessons learned i.e. Six Sigma.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll need to have a Six Sigma Black Belt qualification as you’ll be the official mentor of green belt candidates, whilst providing support to Electrical Engineering staff undertaking all levels of Six Sigma training.

Previous project delivery experience will be required from definition to completion, alongside the ability to demonstrate experience of technical analysis and employing best-in-class processes wherever possible.

You must be able to work with technical data and combine business skills with technical decision-making.

Finally you’ll be a problem solver who has exceptional attention to detail and encourages the appropriate use of the six sigma tool set and adherence to the necessary Quality Standards within Electrical Engineering.
