WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

 

As Automation Systems Engineer you’ll be responsible for supporting the development and daily operation of engine test bed automation systems in the main Jaguar Land Rover engine test facility Whitley, including the effective integration of other associated systems.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

With a passion for the automotive industry you’ll demonstrate knowledge of engine test activities and test automation systems along with knowledge of associated test bed instrumentation and systems (combustion systems, INCA, Cameo, emissions systems etc. etc.) Knowledge of test bed hardware (fuel, coolant, oil, air conditioning systems etc)

 

You’ll possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask, you’ll be comfortable delivering to tight deadlines in a challenging and demanding environment.
