WHAT TO EXPECT

When it comes to the future, our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team is planning it today. Regularly working up to three years ahead of production, they help translate, plan and implement Product Development outputs into vehicle manufacture, transforming our ambitious plans into tangible and exhilarating realities.

From the luxuriously agile Jaguar F-TYPE to the innovative CX-17, our vehicles – famed for the revolutionary technologies they employ – are amongst some of the most desired and revered in the world today. Your constant challenge, working as part of our diverse and multi-skilled AME team, will be to ensure our iconic brands continue to captivate the world tomorrow.

Behind every great Jaguar Land Rover design there lies a complex process of assembly and extensive build facility. To ensure that the two culminate in fantastic vehicles that our customers will love for life, the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Programmes team work tirelessly to facilitate plans that allow on time delivery, within budget investment and flawless quality launches across all Jaguar Land Rover programmes.

As Programmes Architecture Lead Engineer you’ll take on responsibility for managing key Architecture, financial and technical metrics, generate summary reports and representing the team in regular architecture programme meetings, such as management meetings. You’ll focus on our 6’ Pillars of Programme Management: Delivery, Quality, Cost, People, Environment and Safety.

With a strong focus on the quality of your work, you’ll also need to have the business and planning acumen to drive the business forward.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills alongside a high level of organisational and time management techniques. Adaptable and self-motivated, you’ll possess strong project management and execution capabilities and the ability to multitask.

You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office, have a passion for the automotive industry as well as both resilience and enthusiasm in order to deliver results under pressure whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.

Ideally you’ll have gained your experience within the automotive or manufacturing sector and have an understanding of manufacturing processes combined with knowledge of Product and Launch processes but this is not essential for the role.

Finally, you’ll hold a valid driving licence and will be comfortable with regular travel across the UK.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you will find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team. Our employees have access to a privilege car purchase scheme, membership of a competitive pension plan, performance related bonus scheme and 26 days holiday entitlement. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
