Behind every great Jaguar Land Rover design there lies a complex process of assembly and extensive build facility. To ensure that the two culminate in fantastic vehicles that our customers will love for life, the AME team work tirelessly to facilitate plans that allow on time delivery, within budget investment and flawless quality launches across all Jaguar Land Rover programmes.

When working within AME Body In White (BIW) Management as the Lead Engineer, you’ll manage key programme financial and technical metrics; generate summary reports; and represent AME in regular programme meetings, such as the Launch Management meeting, Process Chains and Programme Steering Groups.

As programmes progress through the planning and implementation phases, you’ll work together with the AME Technology Engineers, Programme Leaders, Plant Management and senior management to ensure the delivery of operational and quality objectives are exceeded. In addition, you’ll communicate current issues to relevant teams; ensuring they all receive maximum exposure and are dealt with effectively to assist, improve and sustain product quality.

You’ll also drive continuous improvement by establishing a specific course of action, and appropriately manage time, tasks, budgets and resources to ensure a first class service to our customer base.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

With your vast leadership, project management and execution experience, coupled with a background in engineering within the automotive industry, you'll have a strong focus on the quality of your work, as well as the passion, business and planning acumen to drive Jaguar Land Rover forward.

Demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills, you’ll also be adaptable, self-motivated and highly organised. You’ll be comfortable managing your time and multitasking requirements to deliver results under pressure, all the while drawing on your resilient and enthusiastic nature to respond constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs. Lastly, proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
