Overview:
JP Morgan’s Private Bank is looking to add a User Experience Designer to its internal Wealth Management platform.  We are seeking a creative thinker and an excellent communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to global users.  This role requires cross-disciplinary collaboration with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and a variety of Business Stakeholders to deliver application wireframes and prototypes that meet user needs and expectations.  The candidate would support and contribute to existing production applications in addition to creating new designs.  This candidate will also assist in user research, application requirement definition and formalized usability testing.  The User Experience team engages on projects early in the development lifecycle in an effort to bring use cases and business requirements to life.  We develop relationships throughout the firm and maintain active communication with global users to properly align designs to their varied needs and expectations.   

Responsibilities:
·  Engage with project teams to evaluate requirements and create interaction designs for desktop and mobile devices
·  Develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions for internal advisors
·  Design applications for business workflows that conform to established UX guidelines and interaction standards
·  Facilitate the evolution of the UX design standards and help maintain a universal style guide
·  Create wireframes and clickable prototypes to illustrate the proposed application flow and functionality and better define application requirements
·  Validate designs with end users through usability sessions and deliver targeted quantitative and qualitative feedback to project teams
·  Cultivate relationships with role-diverse, global end users
·  Conduct in-person and remote demonstrations to socialize designs, describe functionality and demonstrate workflow
·  Be a champion for UX discipline throughout the organization and engage with development teams to leverage standard components
·  Review developed applications to ensure proper alignment to UX designs and adherence to UX style guide standards
·  Understand a complex range of features and experiences, research competitor offerings and monitor UX trends
· 
·  Bachelor’s degree in Design/Visual Communications or equivalent experience
·  3-5 years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, experience designer or similar role - specifically for web and mobile
·  Proficient in Axure RP Pro version 6.5+ preferred
·  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
·  Experience with responsive design and knowledge of web design trends
·  Experience with both traditional solution delivery methodologies and with rapid, iterative solution delivery methods, such as Agile, a plus
·  Excellent communication skills – written and oral – to clearly articulate UX logic and design value while responding to critical assessment
·  Financial services experience preferred but not required
·  Experience designing highly transactional websites or web-based applications with significant quantities of data
·  Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors that are often complex, and competing and translate them into globally deliverable wireframes and prototypes
·  Ability to prioritize design issues and demonstrate independent decision making
·  Ability to work with teams across multiple business lines and geographies
·  Enjoy multi-tasking in a fast paced, collaborative environment
