Asset Pricing & Reference Data is an operating unit center of excellence within CAO Operations providing a global asset pricing service to various lines of business within J.P. Morgan. The Americas team for asset pricing services departments and clients across multiple regions including WHEM, EMEA, and APAC.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Asset Pricing & Reference Data operating unit supporting the Global Index Research group. This high energy team is responsible for the daily calculation and management of J.P. Morgan's proprietary indices. On a daily basis, the team validates the pricing, calculations and distribution of J.P. Morgan indices. You will be joining a team of professionals with extensive and varied experience, and will interact with clients, pricing service vendors, auditors, accountants and other operations and technical professionals. As you grow into the role, your feedback will be vital in serving the needs of clients and ensuring daily tasks and project assignments remain on track. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with solid experience and understanding of security pricing.

Desired profile

· Review market news and perform market analysis to validate (and sign-off on) price movements from 3rd party pricing sources

· Oversee the calculation and maintenance of investable indices

· Review system alerts and address processing errors in a timely manner

· Determine the appropriate way to address missing reference data including rates and prices

· Review country level bond issuances and redemptions to reflect rule-based composition changes to the index during the next rebalance as well as to understand the impact of net country issuance trends on the index

· Prepare monthly composition change reports and overviews of monthly changes

· Create monthly publications post-rebalance to reflect index performance over the prior month
