Job description
The primary focus of this Event Coordinator role for JPMorgan Chase & Co. manages the organization, distribution and inventory of event and marketing materials while supporting the Military and Veteran Recruiting team. The key operational roles include, but are not limited to, facilitating weekly events meetings with management staff, reviewing logistics and shipping details for events, training internal partners on event technology, reviewing risks and controls for event technology with internal partners supporting events, building reports on veteran pipeline from events, tracking inventory and supporting relationships and inquiries for internal and external contacts.
Essential responsibilities for this role are as follows:
· Manage MVR event inventory and marketing materials.
· Track event supplies which includes iPads, stands, tablecloths, banners, etc...
· Facilitate weekly events meetings to review and highlight team needs.
· Assist in the management of the Yellow system, ensuring that the database is current and functional.
· Order event and office supplies as needed.
· Work with management team in assessing all MVR event needs and details.
· Package and ship “Job Fair in a Box” to and from all events and align appropriate contacts for each MVR event.
· Receive and complete daily “Military High Touch” report.
· Manage and manipulate detailed reports and communicate results to management on MVR submittals and veteran pipeline in a timely and accurate manner.
· Build and maintain relationships with external vendors in matters of events, supplies and operations.
· Administrative support as directed by managers.
· Complete special projects as needed.
Desired profile
· Previous US Military experience strongly preferred.
· Military TAP contacts, Veteran Service Organizations, Student Veteran Organizations and military installation MOS concentration knowledge required.
· Strong understanding of Military Rank and Military Branch Services required.
· Three or more years of operational and/or logistics experience required.
· One or more years of experience with event planning required.
· Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and v-lookup experience required.
· Strong PowerPoint and Word skills required.
· Strong customer service and relationship building skills required.
· Experience with Taleo, Recsolu/Yello and Graphics preferred.
