Roles and Responsibilities:

 

The candidate will be based in Frankfurt and will report to the EMEA Market Risk Reporting Manager. The position requires interactions with Market Risk Coverage and Credit Risk Coverage, Finance, Audit and Operations, and the production of LE level Market and Credit Risk Reports within the firm.

 

 

Responsibilities, skills, specific duties and essential function:

 

· 
Learn production process for the daily, weekly and monthly Market and Credit Risk Reports for internal risk management and regulatory reporting

· 
Work on improvements to the user tools and processes, automating and reducing UTs where feasible

· 
Build and maintain good working relationships with coverage teams

· 
Coordinate Market Risk Reporting across regions

·  Ensure reasonableness and high integrity of risk information before submittal
·  Ensure consistency in practices and procedures around reporting 

Qualifications:

·  Good understanding and experience with risk management methodologies, particularly the use of Credit and Market risk metrics
·  Education to degree level (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
·  Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
·  Able to work on a project mode basis, within a small team integrated within a large organization
·  Good team spirit, able to work under pressure, must be a solution provider
·  Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
·  3-5 years risk experience
·  fluent in English, german language skills are an advantage
·  Good technology skills: Excel, Access and VBA
