Our team structures, prices and sells interest equity derivatives to financial institutions.
Equity Derivatives Sales work closely with their clients and trading desks to find unique solutions to key client problems leveraging on J.P. Morgan's superior trading platform.
The opportunity is to join the Equity Derivatives Sales team to cover Italian Accounts. The candidate will work closely with the broader equity sales and trading team, from Research to Equity Derivatives Structuring and Trading, as well as cash equities sales.
· Direct Sales Coverage of Italians Banks, Asset managers and Insurance companies
· Marketing and Sales of Equity Derivatives products
The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle a large amount of transactions. Ability to understand simple as well as complex equity derivatives products and ability to price them
· Demonstrable experience in equity derivatives execution
· Ability to develop and implement trade ideas with equity derivatives
· Sales experience covering Italian Clients
· The candidate needs to be able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization
· The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
· Ability to work under pressure
· Reliability and team-player personality
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
