The CFS Middle Office Department is responsible for ensuring all aspects of operations for Global Custody clients are completed on time, exceptions are resolved, and client inquiries are resolved and provide subject matter expertise to the clients. This would be a cross product client facing role that requires extensive client interaction & communication and working with various global internal teams as required. The candidate will be expected to hone and utilize their communication skills to effectively work through tasks of varying difficulty with external and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
· Working directly with Custody Clients on a daily basis to assist in the execution and implementation of new business and incremental business wins, exiting funds and fund restructures.
· Oversight and controls for Conversion Associate planning and preparation for a Transition event, including: agreeing transition strategy, performing in depth portfolio analysis, account structure and static data checks, delivery of accurate SSI's, executing stock movements in to, out of and between accounts, plus monitoring market trading, ensuring timely settlement of trades.
· Managing and coordinating event scheduling and planning with external asset managers and custodians as well as all impacted internal parties
· Check and sign off initial portfolio analysis.
· Identifying problem assets, positions in liquidation etc. prior to transition
· Work with Network and CI on all account opening requirements
· Manage the correct collation of risk and credit profiles on exits
· Adhere to controls and procedures, attest to team SOPs, ensuring all key risk and quality indicators are met and MIS is accurate and completed timely
· Resolution, cash and stock break management
· Dealing directly with customers to ensure continuous high level service is achieved
· Attend conference calls & meetings across multiple locations and product areas to ensure plans are developed and actions completed on target.
· Ensure team controls are adhered to, involvement in Business resiliency planning, Audit & Risk reviews and client/counterparty site visits.

Desired profile

·  You can demonstrate a working knowledge of the key risks and controls relevant to an Asset Transitions event. In particular market and settlement process requirements.
·  You can demonstrate a working knowledge of investment management, custodian or broker operational processes
·  Flexible approach to the daily workflows / hours required to perform the role. Ability to effectively prioritise your workloads to critical deadlines
·  Excellent technical skills and able to talk through experience to date with different systems
·  Strong Microsoft Office package essential
·  Strong Risk and Control Awareness and the ability to put into practice enhancements/updates as deemed appropriate
