GLOBAL CIB CONFLICT OF INTEREST OFFICE - ASSOCIATE - BOURNEMOUTH
The Global CIB Conflict of Interest (COI) Office is part of the Finance & Business Management CIB Controls area sitting under the Banking Controls organisation.

The CIB COI Office was initially established to implement Global COI risk control framework in CIB and to respond to regulatory developments in the COI space. Currently the main objective is to improve the ability of CIB businesses to manage COI risks on a day to day basis, and to provide a consistent risk management approach with appropriate oversight.

The COI Program Associate will support the COI Global CIB Office Head in the ongoing development of the CIB COI Global Framework, with primary responsibilities evolving around:
·  Secretariat and production of materials for monthly CIB COI Committee & bi-weekly CIB COI Working group
·  Representation of CIB COI Office in CIB Policy forum – maintenance of CIB COI Policy Heatmap
·  Support CIB Controls managers in COI risk scenario reviews & other COI deliverables
·  Production of CIB COI Management information (e.g. Quarterly Corporate COI metric scorecard / Quarterly Peer Bank COI events metrics)
·  Coordinate Corporate Cross LOB Review of issues
·  Support further development of COI management information
·  Working with Regional Control Officers to ensure consideration to Local COI regulatory requirements
·  Partner with key stakeholders to support CIB COI Office deliverables (e.g. OLO program, CIB COI Compliance, CIB RCSA, etc.)

The preferred candidate should have:
·  Control Management, Compliance, Audit or Operational risk experience
·  Risk management expertise with some direct experience of managing Non Financial Risks such as Conduct Risk and COI risks, e.g. through the Risk and Control Self Assessment (“RCSA”) framework
·  Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
·  Good written and verbal skills
·  Knowledge of at least one CIB line of business
·  Team player
·  Analytical with good attention to detail and quality
·  Comfortable operating in a fast paced and often challenging environment
·  Tenacious with a “can do” attitude
·  Good organizational skills
