The Agency Execution desk aims to capitalise on J. P. Morgan’s market size and positioning to offer clients the ability to execute Credit and Rates trades over many trading venues, offering clients the ability to source and execute trades in a greater breadth of markets while providing the most competitive price availability.

This business has been formed due to the impact MIFIDII on Fixed Income trade execution. Whereby historically the majority of Fixed Income trading has been OTC this activity is now being moved towards Trading Venues, somewhere that J. P. Morgan are well placed to offer access to.

The Trade Support team are responsible for providing all operational support, technical resolution and control to the desk in their day functions. Both the execution and the support functions are in their developmental stage at this point and this role will be primarily to develop those functions into established processes.

The team will be part of the wider Fixed Income Trade Support team, who are responsible for all Fixed Income Cash and Repo activity for CIB in EMEA along with Primary Issuance, Fixed Income Deriviatives and Private Bank support. There will be opportunity to learn and assist with these wider functions.

 
Day one responsibilities will include

·  Testing validation, script production and execution.
·  Perform daily controls and tasks once implemented.
·  In addition there will be opportunity to be involved in the winder Trade Support team. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
 
+1 year Investment Banking Operations experience.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Demonstrated organizational skills.

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.

 

 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Favourable

Understanding of MIFIDII regulations.
  Understanding of Fixed Income business.
