Chase Consumer & Community Banking serves nearly 66 million consumers and 4 million small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others

As a Credit Analyst in DCS (Dealer Commercial Services), your primary responsibilities will be to support the local Underwriting team with portfolio management and credit approval package assistance. In addition, you will be assigned a portfolio of operating exposures, such as ACH facilities, and some traditional credit products, such as real estate loans, stand-by letter of credits, etc., and will be expected to effectively manage. The Credit Analyst will act as a System Administrator for Navigator, DCS' financial spreading system and develop credit skills for underwriting and learn Firmwide and DCS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Prepare credit approval packages and provide recommendations for approval under the guidance of Underwriters and Credit Executives
· Clearly and concisely explain the key issues and recommend appropriate loan structures within the credit approval package
· Analyze and interpret financial statements and draw well thought out conclusions from analysis
· Consistently identify risk and suggest mitigating factors
· Assist with new business requests
· System Administration of Navigator
· Work proactively, in a constructive, diplomatic manner, with both internal and external contacts to keep transactions moving
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills both internally and externally and using those communication skills to effectively solve problems

Desired profile

·  BS/BBA in Finance, Accounting, other Business degree or equivalent work experience
·  At least 1-3 years of commercial underwriting/lending/credit experience is preferred.
·  Auto Finance experience a strong plus
·  Prior experience in a role utilizing basic accounting principles
·  Must be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a time sensitive environment
·  Must maintain a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
·  Highly motivated team player
·  Effective written and verbal communication skills
·  Have a solid understanding of computer systems and Microsoft applications
