About the team
 
The Global Cash Equities Technology Group supports a well-established major business unit in the JPMorgan Investment Bank. Our group is responsible for providing a true multi-asset Electronic Trading application stack covering multiple lines of business across Electronic Client Solutions, Delta 1, Program Trading and Single Stock.

About the role

The Equities Execution Services Technology department is looking for a C++ Applications Developer to cover Smart Order Routing and Crossing applications in the low latency Electronic Trading environment.

 
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
·  Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
·  Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
·  Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
·  Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
·  Advanced knowledge of C++11 onwards; Templates and Boost
·  Experience of Low Latency Environments
·  To be involved with all phases of Agile SDLC(unit testing, automated build, automated release, automated QA, Jenkins, GNU Make, CMake) 
·  Knowledge of Smart Order Routing and Crossing products is desirable
·  Understanding of market data distribution and order management specifics in software design is desirable
·  Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
·  Linux: understands the OS architecture, fluent user of the command line, can fluently speak either Perl or Python.
