Job description

As Business Analyst 1, you will facilitate the efficient and effective functioning of Lease End Servicing, Asset Remarketing Operations, Auction Sales, Auction Operations, Manufacturer Remarketing and Remarketing Analysis by creating and generating necessary operational and financial reports on a timely basis. You will support Chase's manufacturer clients by supplying remarketing data in response to their requirements.

Essential Job Functions and key responsibilities will include:
· Generating reports detailing the following on a recurring basis:
· Operational reports utilized by Asset Remarketing Operations to prioritize work.
· Reports utilized by Asset Remarketing Field Remarketing Representatives and auctions utilized by Chase to facilitate the sale of Chase off-lease and repossessed vehicles.
· Activity of high volume buying dealers of Chase remarketed vehicles.
· Sales scheduling and remarketing results in support of our manufacturer clients.
· End of term billing activity.
· AR Operations' auction survey results in support of the Chase Cup selection process.
· Monthly scorecards and key performance indicators for Asset Remarketing Operations.
· Inventory data by VIN, location and vehicle grade.
· Data to support the 90/240 charge-off process.
· Internet ready vehicles by location.
· AuctionNet data for selected vehicles used to assess Chase remarketing performance and the overall state of the used vehicle market.
· Ensuring that all reports remain accurate and reflect the frequently changing needs of the respective users.
· Act as backup to the Pricing Manager in manually generating prices for Chase off-lease vehicles offered for sale via Openlane.
· Fully adhering to the Firm's Code of Conduct.

Other functions:
· Performing other tasks and analyses as requested.

The selected candidate will interface with other Vehicle Remarketing team members and management, our manufacturer clients, Chase's auction vendors (primarily ADESA and Manheim) and Chase IT and MIS.

Desired profile

Essential qualifications: demonstrable
·  Ability to write, modify and debug SQL code.
·  Ability to write and modify macros in MS Office; proficiency in use of pivot tables.
·  Familiarity with internal Chase data sources, specifically Datamart and iCAF.
·  Understanding of Mazda, Subaru, Jaguar and Land Rover model lineups and VIN structures of all makes.
·  Familiarity with the relevant sources of used vehicle auction transaction data (Manheim Market Report and AuctionNet).
·  General automotive knowledge.
·  Self-starter able to work independently.
·  Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
·  Detail orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
·  No history of attendance or tardiness deficiencies.
Preferred qualification:
·  Familiarity with remarketing processes or other auto industry experience.
