The Private Bank's Wealth Management Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank in JP Morgan's Wealth Management Management line of business. The Private Bank is the world's premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals. Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations. Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.

Position Summary:
The Private Banking (PB) Credit Middle Office (CMO) Business Testing Team is a dedicated team of specialists focused on ensuring the quality of operational aspects of UAT environments developed in partnership with Project Management and Technology. The UAT Business Testing Team is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of quality for our Technology and Project Initiatives by understanding the business users and business workflows. They are the initial line of testing that occurs in UAT environments and often interact directly with Developers and Project Managers to ensure alignment of project goals, timeframes, and business use. The Testing Team is a critical part of enhancing the business' workflows and use of applications in the most efficient and effective way. The successful Analyst exercises sound and independent judgment, has a willingness to take initiative and has a firm understanding of the business goals associated with each project, takes ownership of tasks with a sense of urgency, and the highest priority of accuracy. The position is part of the Credit Middle Office control initiatives as a point of quality validation.

The Analyst would have the following responsibilities:

-Review and understand various business functions to develop and understanding of business priorities and workflow

-Review and understand business requirements

-Writing of test scripts

-Regression management

-Logging and tracking of defects

-Maintaining clear and frequent communication of status of ongoing activities
-Align with Waterfall/Vendor Delivered Application Release schedules, as needed
-Align with AGILE-SCRUM Delivered Application Releases, as needed
-Partner closely with other Credit Middle Office Teams and Management to solution for accuracy.
-Prioritize UAT testing in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-pressure environment to meet expected timeframes
-Manage initiatives to resolve control gaps and enhance current processes for further efficiency and effectiveness as needed

Desired profile

-BA/BS or equivalent; MBA a plus

-Minimum of 3 years working in Project Management Testing and/or Technology Testing and/or Operations Experience

-Develop or have strong understanding of Project Management Methodologies

-High level of proficiency in organizing, priority-setting, and issues management

-Relationship management and interpersonal skill, especially with business partners and key internal stakeholders

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Strong critical thinking skills

-Ability to review processes and recommend process improvements

-Understanding of controls and their importance across process lifecycle and the business operating model

-Creative problem solving

-Ability to positively influence change and maintain a positive change management environment

-Strong teamwork approach
