The GIM Product Marketing team's mission is to create a differentiated, globally consistent and efficient product marketing experience.

The team will partner with distribution to develop focus product communications and integrated campaign content, and with investment team leadership to ensure alignment and transparency of distribution and marketing efforts. A key part of this effort will be to support an efficient, comprehensive global product marketing platform with a tiered approach.

The Product Marketing Support team produces and supports the maintenance of all product-related BAU marketing collateral.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for support and updates of key pieces of marketing collateral, developed by the Global Product Marketing team. They will work closely with colleagues in the broader Product Marketing group, Investment desks, regional marketing teams, the Market Insights group, and support functions across the business including digital, design, compliance, brand, and data groups. The role will have a special focus on the production of key marketing collateral, including fund commentaries, presentations, fund stories (sales aids) etc.

The post will report to the Head of Global Product Marketing Support, and will be based in New York.

Key tasks:
· Consistently employ innovative thinking and steady, dependable work practices to update and support the Product Marketing Group's key collateral.
· Monthly/quarterly creation and updates for fund stories, sales aids, presentations and commentaries.
· SMA, Investment Insights and ETF product collateral support.
· Liaise with internal marketing resources (investment writing team, in-house design agency, digital team, publishing etc), internal stakeholders (regional marketing teams, investment desks and business lines) as well as external suppliers.
· Work towards automation of collateral where appropriate.
· Develop project plans and maintain project discipline according to best practice.
· Ensure that work is correct, compliant and adheres to brand guidelines before release.

Desired profile

· ·  Strong understanding of the asset management business in US markets – prior experience working at an investment management firm preferable.
·  Strong understanding of funds, asset classes, and investments in general
·  Good understanding of channel marketing and communications to intermediaries and/or institutional clients
·  Strong production experience and ability to mix strategic thinking with practical application
·  Ability to operate in complex matrix structure with multiple stakeholders, and be able to drive marketing projects/agenda across numerous marketing teams and business areas
·  Priority management, multi-tasking and the ability to hit strict deadlines
·  Strong planning and project management skills. Able to manage multiple complex processes at the same time.
·  Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
·  Self-motivated, team player and hard working
·  Strong PC skills, with emphasis on Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat (pdfs), and Microsoft Word.

Desirable skills/experience

·  Some knowledge of artworking programs (such as InDesign), and creative marketing (imagery and theming)
·  Good knowledge of developing digital marketing collateral i.e. HTML web-pages or emails

Qualifications

·  BA or BS degree required
·  Relevant licences and certification an advantage – IMC certificate and/or CFA Level 1 would be beneficial, but not a requirement.
