Corporate Technology (CT) builds and supports the firm's financial infrastructure to ensure Finance professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to deliver drive success. In partnership with Global Finance Operations, Corporate Systems Infrastructure (CSi), and others, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients. CT provides technology support for general ledger, profitability, cost allocations, treasury, accounts payable, reference data, project accounting and fixed assets, and reporting tools and the Risk applications.

Job Description:

Corporate Technology Operate performs day to day production support and is primary point of contact for the Core Credit, Credit Portfolio Group, Market Risk, Consumer Bank businesses. Applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day support of applications within scope to include; first point of contact for business users, communication and support activities, issue investigation, as well as working closely with other technology teams to resolve issues in a regionalized support model. The majority of issues the candidate will work on deal with data related investigations based on values reported in application front ends and reports. These investigations will then require database queries to further understand calculations or transformation of value being questioned by business users.

Responsibilities:
· Technical expertise on multiple application platforms is a plus.
· Ensure timely Monitoring and Resolving of problem tickets.
· Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Eagerness to learn new things.
· Strong focus on continual service improvement. Continually analyze incoming requests and determine potential efficiencies.
· Providing transparency to users on issue status on a daily basis
· Liaising with other operate teams and the application development teams in order to resolve issues being reported
· Extract metrics analysis using data from ticket tracking system and review trends being encountered in the environment.
· Train on and understand changes being implemented across Market and Credit Risk application suite.
· Contribute to centrally stored documentation on new issue resolution steps

Desired profile

·  Must have 3+ years experience in a product Support environment
·  Knowledge of fundamental credit and market mitigation techniques, and practices.
·  Strong analytical, logical, technical and problem solving skills
·  Strong interest in client interaction and possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills
·  Must be able to work well under pressure on teams in a demanding environment
·  Good working knowledge of customer support principles
·  Technical proficiency in order to facilitate investigations between the business, various levels of support and application development teams.
·  Knowledge of UNIX/Solaris and basic administration skills.
·  Knowledge of Database - Oracle/Sybase
·  Good understanding of the infrastructure and basic tuning/troubleshooting skills
·  Strong use of SQL is a must, Data and database investigation is frequently required.
Preferred Skills:
·  College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience
·  Good knowledge of investment banking and risk management practices. Understanding of credit and market risk assessment a plus.
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills and sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.
·  Motivated self-starter
