Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) EMEA Paymentsis a global technology organization that is responsible for the systems processes for international Treasury Services branches in EMEA, Asia & LATAM. The team is responsible for Low and High Value payments, DDA, and local clearing links for these branches as well as a number of global utilities, ACH, SWIFT and OFAC.

We want to hire a highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative individual to join the EMEA Environment Management Team, working with our business partners the individual will help shape the Scope & Business Requirements and be responsible for development of Functional Requirements on a number of projects supporting the EMEA High and Low Value Payments platforms.  In addition to bespoke development projects, the team works closely with vendors and the technology infrastructure groups to integrate systems, install software, create and run scripts to configure and maintain systems. The team also works closely with the technical support groups, providing systems advice for the support of the production systems.

 
Key responsibilities:
·  Ownership of multiple streams of work and to organize self and others to deliver in a timely fashion.
·  Work collaboratively with the team sharing ideas to solve complex and challenging business problems
·  L3 Production Support
·  Develop new code and maintain existing code for in-house build applications
·  Apply standard application patches and upgrades to environments.
·  Working with vendors and local architecture team to implement new infrastructure solutions.
·  Hands-on creation and maintenance of application environments.
·  Working with the Technology Infrastructure teams to make changes to locked-down environments.
·  Development of scripts and documentation to improve the overall system management
·  Problem analysis and resolution.
Qualifications:
·  Experience of Linux and Server environment management
·  SQL/Oracle experience
·  Web server (WebSphere, IHS, Apache) experience
·  ANT/XML knowledge
·  UM/MQ Infrastructure knowledge
·  Geneos Monitoring
·  AIM Integration
·  Linux and UNIX shell scripting
·  Strong communication and team-working skills
·  Good analytical and problem-solving skills
·  A delivery focused approach to work
·  Logical thinking and thoroughness
·  Understanding of database management
·  Experience of working in teams and with remote groups
·  Experience of working with vendors and users
·  Understanding of project delivery practice and life-cycle
·  Knowledge of payments processing systems is useful, but not essential
·  Source control (GIT, SVN)
